Toils, Troubles, & Snares?
I was going over some information and it brought me to checking out the Passover. Looking back at both books of the Bible, Exodus & Revelations, one can surely see the journey of both the Israelites and those that will be here is the last days, and don’t leave us, (in this day and time,) out of this equation.
Beginning with the Israelites we know with out a shadow of a doubt, God delivered them from the Egyptians by the blood of an innocent, perfect lamb. Many centuries later He Himself became the lamb by leaving Heaven and coming down here to earth to pay for our sins. The sins We Will Bare, If we don’t have Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!!! Anyway, sorry got caught up in the moment, John the Baptist said so himself in John 1:29;
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
John 1:29 NKJ
Everything that the Israelites went through unscathed, came by this supernatural intervention, “substitution” for the politically correct. Lets take a look at them:
Deliverance from the Angel of Death (Ex. 12:23)
Whole house being saved ( Ex. 12:23, Gen. 7:1, & Rom. 11:26)
Escaping by the Parting of the Red Sea (Ex. 14:21)
Manna everyday for 40 Years (Ex. 16:4)
Guidance by day with the Pillar of Cloud, and Fire at night (Ex. 13:21)
Water By Rock (Ex. 17:6)
Relocation by Egyptian financing (Ex. 12:35 – 36)
In Exodus 15:1 – 21 when the Israelites celebrated the victory at the Red Sea, we find the songs of Mariam & Moses we sung during the Passover. ( Add some music and put it on a CD and you will have the Battle Cry of Victory for the End Times.:-)) Sorry, got carried away again, now these Hymns were Praises and Thanksgiving from the Israelites to tell God The Father just how Awesome He Is and His Works “Are” (because He is still Performing them Today.)! God’s majesty, His military power and might as well as His faithfulness to His People are forever engraved in the pages of the Old Testament, (Tanach.) In the end we know that the Passover celebration will surely fore-shadow God’s Ultimate Victory over Satan.
Henceforth, Revelation 15:3 – 4 The Song of the Redeemed: The Song of Moses!
“They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God,
and the song of the Lamb, saying:
Great & Marvelous are Thy works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and True are Thy Ways,
O King of the nations
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, & glorify Thy name?
For Thou alone are Holy.
For all nations shall come & worship before Thee,
for Thy judgments are made manifest.’”
In order for this Passover Ballad, The Song of the Redeemed, to be the ending Battle Cry during the battle of Armageddon, the Lamb of God had to fulfill his promise of Great Salvation at Calvary on the Cross. I don’t know how many of you know this but, there was a song that accompanied His Sacrifice, with full knowledge that set before Him was tears, suffering, & agony. Jesus Christ Himself led His disciples in a song of praise during the Last Supper, (Matt. 26:30, & Mark 14:26). Jesus Christ went through what they all knew to be the first Passover with His disciples, and this time he added some new revelation of it, relating it to Himself. Then they sang praises to God & set out rejoicing and walking around with His disciples.
Pretty Interesting information isn’t it. Well how about this piece of information: No Matter What our Toils, Troubles, & Snares are in this life, we must always remember to Praise God before, during and after them. Jesus Christ did. And he set the example for all of us. We can Always, Always, Always look to Him and find solace and comfort when we Praise Him.
